W-8という書類でしょうか?日米租税条約に関連していると思います。
税理士に相談か、赴任者であれば会社に相談になると思います。

はい、w-8です。私はF1-visa holderなので働いてるわけではないのでよくわからず困っている状態です。税理士などに聞くのが一番ですかね

W-8BENの書類（ですね?）を見ると上のほうに resident alien individualは使用してはいけないと書いてあります。hannah1さんがUSに住んでおり銀行に届けている住所がUSであるならばこの書類は該当しないのではと銀行の窓口で確認してみてはどうでしょうか?
