質問：アメリカで家を売る場合は、売れるまでその家に住み続けれるの?

勉強不足ですが、買った家を売る場合（ローン支払い中）、REDFIN やtruliaに、Ｆｏｒ Ｓａｌｅの広告が載ってから、家がきちんと売れるまでは、売主はその家に住んでいてもいいのですか?
いいんですよね?
関係ないですが先月、離婚発表した芸能人の武田久美子、５月に今の家が売りに出されているのに、
以降も自分のブログに前にＴＶで前に自慢してたプールとかジャグジーとか、家の写真をＵＰしてるので、
いいんだ、と思って。。。
あと今の家が今年５月始めから売りに出されてるのに、以降のブログ内の文章に、この家に娘の友達呼んでお泊まりするのが楽しみ的なことが書いてあって、元夫がこの人に知らせず売り家手続きして広告出して、そのこと知らされてないの?? と思ってしまいました。
