サンタナロウについて

この度、San Joseおよびサンタナロウに行きます。
社会人学生（?）です。（既にいい年した学生です。）
半年程度の滞在で、滞在先をどちらにするか、決めかねています。
住むならサンタナロウが治安もよさそうだし素敵かな、と思うのですが、
San Joseまで車を使わずに行けるのかどうか。
ちなみにSan Joseまで、週３回位通わなければなりません。
なるべく運転したくないので、公共の交通機関で行けるといいのですが。
それぞれの長所短所、参考になるサイト、その他何でもいいので教えてください。
よろしくお願いします。

サンタナロウから数ブロックほどのところに住む者ですが、サンタナロウはSan Jose市内にあります。「San Joseまで車を使わずに行けるのかどうか」と言うことですが、San Joseのどこに行かれるのでしょうか・・・?San Jose市域は意外と広いです。
San Joseのダウンタウンエリアならば、サンタナロウのそばのショッピングモールのバス乗り場から23番のバスで一本で行けますよ。
サンタナロウを第一候補にあげられる事から察するところでは、ご予算に余裕があるようですし、ご存知かもしれませんが、サンタナロウに住むのはとっても予算的に高いうえ、結構毎日騒がしいですよ。
