This event will feature a panel discussion on "How Japan and Silicon Valley should be connected to promote innovation," featuring Professor Emeritus Seiichiro Yonekura, who is deeply involved in the innovation industry, including management strategy for Japanese companies, and other experts on innovation between the U.S. and Japan. The speakers will discuss how to connect Japan and Silicon Valley to promote innovation. The panelists are bilingual with extensive knowledge of cross-border innovation between the U.S. and Japan, including a PhD from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University. Professor Emeritus Yonekura, Mr. Ishiguro, and Mr. Hirano are in San Francisco to participate in the "Startup World Cup World Finals" on September 30, and will take this rare opportunity to share their experiences with Japanese people involved in innovation in Silicon Valley.
