*DPS REQUESTS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN ONGOING INVESTIGATION*

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 6:37 a.m., Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers responded to the area of Sunnyvale Avenue and East Evelyn Avenue following a report of an unresponsive male lying on the sidewalk.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in his 50s suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for emergency treatment. His condition remains critical.

This remains an active investigation, and officers are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. We are seeking the public’s assistance. If you were in the area at the time or have any information that could aid in the investigation, please contact Detective G. Limon at (408) 730-7110.
