Due to circumstances, I need to return home temporarily for about 6 months and am looking for a place to keep my child for that time.　I am not sure how long it will be, but I think it will coincide with the holiday season. I have been able to ask a friend and her family for help, but they are planning to move soon, so I can no longer ask them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Since we are long term, dog boarding, dog hotel, etc. would be out of our budget, but we may have to consider it when the time comes.
Do you have any other recommendations on sites such as Rover.com ？

Trial for amendment of Article 11 of the Nationality Law
Under the current Japanese Nationality Law, a person "automatically" loses Japanese nationality if he/she voluntarily acquires the nationality of another country.
Now, plaintiffs residing in Switzerland and other countries are fighting in court to amend this. I think this is an important trial for those of us living in the US.
There is a petition campaign on change.org to amend Article 11 of the Nationality Law. Currently, about 43,000 votes have been collected, but it would be great if more people would sign the petition. The next trial will be held in September. By the way, I am an individual and not a member of this association.

I am planning to marry an American.

After getting married in the U.S., I think we need to go through the procedures to come to Japan, but I don't know what the process is.
I think I can go to the consulate, but I don't know what documents I need to prepare.
I would like to know in bullet points.

Also, for marriage and green card applications, do I only need to bring my family register from Japan?

This is my first year living in the Bay Area and I am going to Chicago on a business trip on short notice. I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations for souvenirs for Japanese people living in Chicago, such as alcohol, non-bulky items, snacks, sundries, etc., whether they can be procured without going to San Francisco or Napa, or whether they can be bought at the local grocery store, etc. ？.

May I ask a question about the procedures required by the DMV when I return to Japan?
I will be returning to Japan this month. I have already been issued an international driver's license, but I don't know if there are any procedures required by the DMV for a U.S. driver's license after that.
Is there anything I need to do about my US driver's license when I return to Japan ？ Also, do I need to change my address ？
If I change my address to Japan, I am worried that my international license will be revoked.

I will be returning to Japan in June.
I am considering taking a corona test at Walgreens or CVS to keep the cost as low as possible, but I was wondering if anyone has actually taken the test there and entered Japan ？
The original results do not seem to have passport numbers, doctors signatures, etc. The original result does not seem to have a passport number or doctor's signature, but I would like to know how the negative certificate designated by Japan was written. Would it have been possible to rewrite it at a Japanese-Japanese clinic ？
