Palm Avenue Community Park: Help Shape Fremont’s Newest Park

The City of Fremont is planning a new 12-acre community park on Palm Avenue! Guided by the 2022 Parks and Recreation Master Plan, this future park may include sports fields, courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, open lawns, and more.

Like other Fremont Community Parks—such as Warm Springs and Los Cerritos—Palm Ave Park will serve the entire city and include restrooms and parking. Design considerations like traffic, access, and amenities are still being reviewed.

Over 1,600 community members shared feedback through a community survey and outreach events. This input will be presented to the Recreation Commission on Wednesday, September 3.

*Upcoming Meetings*

Sept. 3 | 7:00 pm – Recreation Commission Meeting

Sept. 11 | 6:00 pm – Community Site Walk & Discussion
