Email from City of South San Francisco     View the complete newsletter on the web   Hello, South San Francisco Community! First of all, thank you to everyone who stopped by our Preferred Concept Open House at the upcoming park on Linden and Pine last Saturday. Over 65 people came to see the preferred concept that you, our community, helped put together with your amazing feedback! We’re very proud of the design we presented, and feel it honors the community’s culture and our future. We are also grateful to all of our Linden Avenue business owners & merchants for their support of the project and valuable feedback over the course of the last year. Learn more about the design and our efforts at revitalizing this part of our historic Old Town, and stay tuned for more opportunities to vote on the fun park amenities: public art, a community mural, fitness options, and play equipment. We’re so excited to see this come to life in 2026! Also at the open house were representatives for our S.E.E. at Martin Elementary project - School traffic safety Enhancement for Everyone. We’ve heard your desire to make street safety improvements around this area, and I'm taking action! Our city engineering team has been sharing various options and gathering feedback at events around the area, with more events to come. Learn more here, and let’s work together to make our South City streets safer for everyone.   Save the Date for the Next Cafecito!
