As we step into the vibrant season of spring, I am filled with gratitude and excitement to serve as your District 1 Councilmember. It's an honor to represent you and collaborate on ensuring that the City of Santa Clara delivers exceptional services to its residents.

Spring symbolizes renewal, and it’s the perfect time to refresh our community as well. I’m pleased to announce that the City of Santa Clara will host its Annual Cleanup Campaign, with District 1’s cleanup week scheduled for April 28. This is a great opportunity to tidy up and contribute to our city’s cleanliness. Please remember to set out your discarded materials no earlier than Saturday, April 26, and no later than 7 a.m. on Monday, April 28. Let’s come together to keep Santa Clara beautiful! Additionally, a quick note regarding Santa Clara Unified School District’s Spring Break, happening the week of April 15: Please be mindful of our younger residents who may be playing outside during regular school hours. Let’s ensure their safety and enjoyment during this break.

An inspiring and insightful discussion with executives in the sports industry, exploring the dynamic role of sports teams in driving business growth, community engagement, economic development, empowering women, and increase in entrepreneurship.
