Learn More     Agenda Available for Upcoming City Council Meeting The agenda lists all the items to be discussed during the Tuesday, February 25 City Council meeting. Community members can attend in person at the Council Chambers (1 N San Antonio Rd) or watch live on the City's YouTube channel. The meeting begins at 7 PM. Learn More     Connect with Council: Office Hours Happening This Week Mayor Pete Dailey will hold office hours on Tuesday, February 25, from 10:30 AM-12 PM at the Grant Park Community Center Classroom 2. He plans to hold office hours every Tuesday that the City Council meets. Office hours allow constituents to ask questions and share concerns in person. Learn More     You're Invited: 2nd Annual Parks & Recreation Open House The second annual Parks & Recreation Open House is on Saturday, March 1, at 11 AM at the Los Altos Community Center. This free event will showcase programs, offer early registration, and feature local organizations. Attendees can win prizes, including a free week of summer camp. Learn More     Los Altos Announces Compost Station Availability for 2025 The City's self-serve compost station will return for three weeks in 2025, the first being Wednesday, April 9-Friday, April 18, at the Los Altos Community Center parking lot. Residents must bring containers and gloves; shovels will be provided. A waiver must be completed before using the compost station. Learn More     Library Tax Exemption Available for Low-Income Seniors The North County Library Authority offers a tax exemption from its $76 annual tax to low-income seniors. To qualify, individuals must meet the income threshold of $64,550 for single-person households or $73,750 for two-person households. The submittal deadline is Monday, June 30.
