Feedback Wanted: Housing and Community Development Funding

Help plan federal funding for affordable housing, homelessness and improvements in our community

Consolidated Plan Website Survey_2024 [ https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SantaClaraCommunity ]The City of Mountain View is in the process of updating its five-year federal Consolidated Plan through a regional process led by the County of Santa Clara and in coordination with participating cities.

The City of Mountain View participates in two federal programs, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME, which are the focus of the Consolidated Plan.

The County is now conducting county-wide public outreach for the 2025-30 Consolidated Plan, to assist participating cities in identifying housing and community improvement funding priorities for CDBG and HOME.

One way that community members can give feedback on local housing and community development priorities is through the Community Survey [ https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SantaClaraCommunity ], which runs through Sunday, Dec. 1.

Get involved by attending a public workshop, which are being held virtually:


* Thursday, Nov. 14, 6:30-8 p.m. – Regional Virtual Public Workshop 1. Register online [ https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_xY8DRnJTQbmIvFjR2t4VAw#/registration ]. (Spanish and Vietnamese interpretation will be available.)
