Learn More     Housing Open House: Know Your Rights as a Tenant The City is hosting a Housing-specific Open House on Wednesday, March 12, at 4 PM at the Los Altos Community Center. Attendees will learn about their rights as California tenants, including information on displacement rights, rent increase caps, and resources for legal assistance. Learn More     Los Altos Community Contribution to Clean Energy in 2024 Silicon Valley Clean Energy recently released the impact Los Altos' residents and businesses made in 2024 by using clean electricity. A summary of financial and emissions savings, available offers and services, and information on where the power comes from is also included in the bulletin. Learn More     Hazardous Waste Disposal at City Recycling Event Appointments are now available for Saturday, April 12, in Los Altos to dispose of any household hazard waste, such as auto fluids, batteries, household cleaners, and paint. Residents can make an appointment by calling (408) 299-7300 or visiting HHW.org. There are no fees to participate in this event. Learn More     Summer Camp Leader Applications Open Parks & Recreation is seeking passionate and energetic individuals to help lead summer camps. Camps run from Monday, June 16-Friday, August 8. Training is scheduled for the week of June 9, from 9 AM-4 PM daily. Minimum qualifications and duties are listed in the job description.
