He shared updates on key priorities such as public safety, housing, climate action and economic development and retail vibrancy. He also featured critical projects that are advancing and highlighted essential services that continue everyday in Palo Alto. Artificial Intelligence Workshops & City Use of AI Upcoming workshops help you learn about ways to use AI to generate short stories or poetry and have your work turned into short videos with narration and images. Workshops are on Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, April 8 at 4:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Park Library as well as Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Park Community Center. Did you know the City uses AI too? We are piloting a number of uses of AI to share information, support public safety and more! Hamlet summarizes City Council and Utility Advisory Commission meetings, Wordly offers language translation at meetings, and sensors help detect wildfires. Geng Road Safe Parking Open House on Friday Join the City, County of Santa Clara, and Move Mountain View at the Geng Road RV Safe Parking Community Open House tomorrow, Friday, March 21 at 2 p.m. The Open House is an opportunity to thank the community and celebrate the expansion of 12 to 22 spaces offering amenities such as laundry/shower, children's library, and kitchen. Around the World in a Day Festival: March 29 Connect, share, learn, and appreciate the unique traditions and heritage of people from around the globe at the first of its kind festival in Palo Alto on Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Immerse yourself in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere filled with community and cultural booths, performances, engaging exhibits, and more. Weekly City Manager Updates: March 17 City Manager Ed Shikada shares brief updates at each Council meeting, highlighting events, City services, and Council discussions planned.
