Ceramics Programs Starting in June!

Get creative with Ceramics! Dive into the world of creativity with the Parks & Recreation Department’s extensive array of ceramics classes, designed for all skill levels. Whether you are interested in hand building or the pottery wheel, we have it all. 

*Clay Play for Beginners*: Introduce your child to the world of ceramics with our beginner's course! Join our introductory ceramics program and discover the fundamentals of this art form through exciting, hands-on projects. *Hand-Build Pottery for Youth & Adults*: The youth class is a great opportunity for children to learn how to work with clay. In the adult class, participants will learn the foundational techniques of hand-building such as pinching, coiling, and slab building. Our experienced instructor will guide the class with step-by-step instructions and detailed demonstrations. *Pottery Wheel for Adults*: Get inspired and be part of Santa Clara’s growing community of potters. Learn how to create functional or decorative pottery on the wheel. Beginners will learn introductory wheel throwing techniques and glaze fundamentals, more experienced potters will learn advanced techniques while working on individual projects.
