City Council Considers FY 2024/25 Budget

Budget Cover 2024_25

On Tuesday, June 11, the Mountain View City Council held a public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Recommended Budget.

The FY 2024-25 Recommended Budget is structurally balanced and allocates resources toward long-term service delivery, Council Strategic Priority areas, continuous organizational improvement efforts, and innovative programs important to the Mountain View community. Although the budget is stable in Fiscal Year 2024-25, revenues are not growing at the pace the City has experienced in prior years. In addition, a great deal of economic uncertainty remains on the horizon.

Coming up at the Tuesday, June 25 meeting, the City Council will consider adoption of the new fiscal year’s budget, which begins July 1 and runs through June 30, 2025.

For more details, view the FY 2024-25 Recommended Budget. [ https://mountainview.legistar.com/gateway.aspx?M=F&ID=3b6bc471-f5e9-4436-bf46-a904858c570c.pdf ]
