DIY Dessert Board Workshop

The View Teen Center*

Join us for a sweet and creative experience! In this hands-on workshop, you'll decorate a personalized dessert board using non-toxic stains and paints. Once your board is complete, it's time to get creative with your treats! Customize chocolate-covered strawberries, marshmallows, and pretzels with a variety of toppings and colors. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a beautiful and delicious dessert board to share with friends and family.

Adulting 101: Car Maintenance Basics

This workshop will teach teens how to check tire pressure, monitor oil levels, and confidently change a flat tire. Teens will also learn the importance of being prepared for roadside emergencies by building the foundation for their own Emergency Car Kit.

Applications for the 2025-26 School Year open Monday, Feb. 3!

Open to current 6th-11th grade students interested in local government and making a difference. The City of Mountain View Youth Advisory Committee serves in an advisory role, offering valuable perspectives to the City Council and staff on matters concerning youth and teens within our community. Meetings take place on Mondays twice a month at The View Teen Center to strategize programs, propose new services, and address relevant issues concerning the youth and teens in Mountain View.
