Reminder: City Council Study Session on Tenant Protections April 21 We wanted to share a quick reminder that you are invited to join the City Council Study Session on tenant protections on Monday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. This meeting will help inform how the City updates its tenant protection and anti-displacement policies, which is a key area in the City’s 2023-2031 Housing Element. At the meeting, we will update the City Council on findings from staff research and public engagement on anti-displacement and tenant protections, and seek direction from the City Council on next steps. Staff will provide an overview of the feedback received over the course of the past six months, including the two community workshops hosted by the Community Relations Commission on Nov. 17, 2024 and Jan. 15, 2025, and a series of focus groups and stakeholder meetings from October 2024 through January of 2025. If you missed any of the previous CRC meetings, you may access a recording of the meeting here: Workshop 1 and Workshop 2. Those who can't attend in person may participate virtually via Zoom. An agenda and instructions on how to join the meeting will also be posted in the City’s Public Meeting Portal the week before the meeting.
