Summer Teen Volunteers

Interested in supporting your library this summer? Summer volunteers help with our lineup of summer programs for children and teens. You must be available to volunteer from the second week of June through the end of July. To be considered for a summer volunteer position, you will need to fill out the online application by May 31 and participate in a group interview during the second week of June.

 

Open to grades 9 to 12.

 

Applications for Summer 2025 are being accepted now through Sunday, May 31.

AAPI Teens Create Bracelets: Learn Chinese Knotting

Teens come celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by making a bracelet. Teens will learn about the history of Chinese knotting, and make a friendship bracelet.

Volcanos: Go With the Flow

Use "eruptions" of baking soda and vinegar to explore how volcanos grow, how later lava flows overlap earlier ones, and how earlier flows influence the paths of subsequent flows.

 

This program is for grades 3 to 8 and their caregivers.

 

This program will be in the Library Program Room. No registration required, but space is limited. Doors will close when the room is full.
