Teen Ambassadors
The Teen Ambassador Program features 15 enthusiastic teens (grades 6th-12th) who are the official face of The View Teen Center. Ambassadors make a positive impact on their peers by helping to create a welcoming, exciting environment. The ambassadors acquire valuable leadership skills, plan and run events, earn service hours, and have a lot of fun!

Mountain View Public Library
Amplify is a program for teens who want to share their interests and passions with an audience. If you have a skill you’d like to teach or a topic you know a lot about, we will work with you to create a library program open to the public. Participants will not only get the opportunity to literally use your voice, but you will also gain real world experience working with the full support of librarians to bring your program to life.

Learn the essential life skill of basic clothing repair! A loose button or a small rip doesn't have to ruin your favorite shirt. Teens will get practical experience with needle and thread to handle quick fixes, small repairs, and basic garment maintenance. Each pre-registered teen will receive a small basic sewing kit to take home.
