Meet the Library's new catalog, Vega Discover [ https://librarycatalog.mountainview.gov/ ]! Vega Discover is now available for you to explore.

With Vega Discover, you can:


* Easily navigate through our catalog on a phone, tablet, or computer.
* Find the title you want in the format you want within one search record, whether it's a book, eBook, audiobook, or more. 
* Refine your searches by availability, format, age group, and more.
* See suggestions for similar titles, authors, contributors, and topics for the materials you like.
* Read reviews from professional publications and people who have read, watched, or listened to the title.
* Keep track of all your borrowed items in one place.
* Maintain your own virtual bookshelf with custom lists and saved searches.
* Enable reading history if you want to keep track of what you have borrowed.
* Browse staff-curated lists and materials that were recently added to our collection.
* Update your email address, phone number, or preferred pickup location for your holds.

Please note that our current catalog will phase out on *Monday, June 30*.

All of your current account information, such as checkouts, holds, fines, address, phone number, and reading history (if enabled) will be available when we fully switch over to Vega Discover. Your library card number and PIN will remain the same.

Some technical issues may occur as we complete the changeover from our current catalog to Vega Discover. For example, the catalog search bar at the top of our website may not work as intended in the short term. We will work to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience during this transitional time.
