Summer of Soccer on Castro

The Downtown Soccer Mini Pitch is officially open and ready for play by Mountain View City Hall at *590 Castro St.*!

Brought to the community in partnership with Intuit, the Mini Pitch is part of the City's Summer of Soccer celebrations during the World Cup tournament. This free, temporary community space encourages recreation, play, and connection in the heart of Downtown Mountain View. *Don't forget to BYOSB (Bring Your Own Soccer Ball)*!

In addition to open play, the Mini Pitch will host a series of free activities:

⚽️ Business Pop-Ups:


* *July 11, 9:00 a.m. – *HealMint, Ai Healthcare Tabling
* *July 12, 9:00 a.m. – *Tea Era*, *Bubble Tea Samples
* *July 13, 9:00 a.m. – *Yoga Belly*, *Yoga for Athletes
* *July 14, 9:00 a.m. – *StretchLab*, *Assisted Stretching Sessions
* *July 16, 10:00 a.m. – *Books Inc.*, *Storytime* *

⚽️ Soccer Activations:


* *July 15, 4:00–6:00 p.m.* – MVLA Soccer Club Pop-Up
* *July 16, 4:00–6:00 p.m.* – Bay FC Pop-Up
* *July 17, 4:00–7:00 p.m.* – San Jose Earthquakes Pop-Up

The Mini Pitch is one of several Summer of Soccer activations taking place throughout the community to celebrate the excitement of the World Cup while creating fun, welcoming opportunities for residents and visitors to connect through sport.
