Discover the transformative power of "tiny habits" in this introductory session on nature journaling and mindful movement. Whether you are looking to slow down or deepen your connection to the local environment, this workshop offers a practical, accessible approach to observing the world around you.

We will meet at the Central Park Library's park side entrance (near the cafe) before the start of the event at 11 a.m.

We will focus on the *"I Notice, I Wonder, It Reminds Me Of"* (*INIWIRO) *framework—a method championed by NEA Big Read speaker Aimee Nez—to help you engage with nature through brief, ten-minute walks.

*Skill Building:* Learn how to cultivate a consistent nature journaling practice that fits easily into your daily routine.

*Digital Tools:* We will provide an introduction to *iNaturalist* and *Merlin*. You are welcome to capture your observations on paper, or learn how to use these apps to contribute your findings to community science efforts.

*The Route:* This is an open-attendance event. We will meet at the library and embark on a gentle route that crosses the bridge, winds behind the Magical Bridge Playground, and loops back.
