Call for Art Exhibits

The City of Mountain View is accepting applications for art exhibitions at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MVCPA) for the 2026–27 season.

Local artists and artist teams are invited to apply to exhibit their work in the MVCPA lobby, a highly visible public space seen by thousands of visitors attending performances and events throughout the year. View the full Call for Artists and apply on CaFÉ: artist.callforentry.org [ https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=16353 ]

*Application Deadline:* Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (PST)


*

*Exhibit Duration:* Approximately eight weeks per exhibition


*

*Location:* Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro Street


*

*Stipend:* $250 per selected artist or artist team

*Eligibility*


*

Artists and artist teams ages 18+ (artists under 18 may apply with an adult sponsor)


*

Residents of the San Francisco Bay Area (11-county region)


*

Preference given to artists who have not exhibited at MVCPA within the past three years, unless proposing a substantially new body of work

*How to Apply*


* Applications must be submitted online through *CaFÉ (artist.callforentry.org [ https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=16353 ])*. There is no fee to apply.
* Selected artists will be notified following review and approval by the Visual Arts Committee, with the first exhibition scheduled to begin in *April 2026*.
