Get ready to personalize your gear for the new school year! Join us for a hands-on workshop to create unique accessories that showcase your style. We'll have materials for designing custom backpack charms, adding cool iron-on patches to your clothes or bags, learning to sew zipper pouches for pencils and supplies, and more. Amplify: Teen Voices

Mountain View Public Library

Amplify is a program for teens who want to share their interests and passions with an audience. If you have a skill you’d like to teach or a topic you know a lot about, we will work with you to create a library program open to the public. Participants will not only get the opportunity to literally use your voice, but you will also gain real world experience working with the full support of librarians to bring your program to life.

Whether you're a seasoned sorcerer or a curious newcomer, this magical night is filled with enchanting activities, mysterious treats, and Halloween fun. Settle in for a screening of Hocus Pocus and follow the Sanderson Sisters on their wild Halloween adventure. Sample spooky snacks and concoct your own "poisonous punch" with a variety of eerie ingredients and magical mix-ins. Create your own potion bottle, or other enchanted keepsakes to take home. Come dressed as your favorite witch, wizard, magical creature, or Halloween character and get ready for a night of frightfully good fun!
