DON Hershman Exhibit

Join the City of Mountain View for an evening celebrating *The Art of Code Switching*, a compelling exhibition by artist *Don Hershman* at the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts.

This special event will feature light refreshments and a moderated discussion  exploring the themes behind the exhibition. Hershman's work invites reflection on lived experience and the nuanced act of adapting one’s voice, behavior, or expression across different environments.  Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his creative process and view the exhibition in a relaxed, social setting.

*Call for Participants: 2026 Multicultural Festival*
Multicultural Fest

Join us for a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity at the City of Mountain View’s Multicultural Festival on *Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Civic Center Plaza.* This special event brings the community together to share, learn, and appreciate the unique traditions and heritage of people from around the globe.

We warmly invite individuals, cultural organizations, and community groups to help bring this event to life. You can participate in three ways:

*Art Exhibit:* Display artwork, traditional attire, or cultural items in the City Hall Rotunda (April 20 – May 2).


*

*Community Booth:* Share your heritage, history, or crafts.


*

*Performance:* Provide a live cultural performance during the festival.

The application for performances, the art exhibit and community/cultural booths is *now available* on our website and will be due by *Friday, March 20*.

*Fee:* Free to apply and participate.

All submissions will be reviewed for alignment with the City's mission of cultural celebration and inclusivity. Submitting an application does not guarantee a chance to participate. If approved, participants will receive detailed instructions regarding event information and logistics.
