Our summer programming continues through July! Join us for music, crafts, science and more.

 

*Please note:*


* *The Library will be closing early at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.*
* *The Library will be closed all day on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.*

 

Many of our programs this month do not have registration. Space in our programs is still limited and the doors will close when the program is full.

 

For programs with registrations, we recommend arriving early. Registrants' spots are only guaranteed until the start of the program.

Join our Summer Reading Program, now through Aug. 31! Sign up online and log your books, or pick up a print reading log at the Information Desk.

 

For Children (ages 0 to grade 5)

* Receive a brand-new, free paperback book after signing up
* Add your name to our Reader Wall in the Children's Room
* Read five or more books to enter our grand prize drawing
* Read more books or complete more activities for more entries in our grand prize drawing

Fourth of July





4th of July Festival

For all ages

Friday, July 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

South Murphy Avenue between East Washington Avenue and West McKinley Avenue

 

Join us for a fun-filled day with free activities for the whole family to enjoy: 


* Play carnival games and win toy prizes. 
* Explore our creative imagination playground. 
* Enjoy live entertainment at our stage, hosted by Lori and RJ.  Featured performances by Choo Choo Soul with Genevieve, and the Peelers Band.
* Capture memories at our festive photo booth. 

This festival is in the heart of Downtown within walking distance to local restaurants.  

It will be a celebration you won’t want to miss! 

 

Admission is free.

 

Riding your bike? Use our free bike valet on Washington Avenue (enter from Sunnyvale Avenue).

The library is having a video game tournament for all ages.

*Game: *Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch.

*Ages:* The youth tournament will be divided into 3 age groups. Ages 5 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 17. 

 

*Registration is required for youth tournament.* Registration period opens at 1pm on Friday, July 25 through the registration link below. Registering online will reserve a spot but registration and entry into the youth tournament must be verified in person at the Children's Information Desk between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 26th. In-person registrations will be accepted if spaces are available.
