*Amendments to Chapter 36 (Zoning) of the City Code to Allow Streamlined Administrative Approval for Housing Development Projects Utilizing Assembly Bill 130 and Other Minor Updates, as Recommended by the Environmental Planning Commission *

*Amendments to Chapter 28 (Subdivisions) and Chapter 41 (Park land dedication or fees in lieu thereof) of the City Code to Allow Streamlined Administrative Approval for Housing Development Projects Utilizing Assembly Bill 130 and Other Minor Updates*

The Mountain View City Council will hold a public hearing to consider text amendments to Chapter 28 (Subdivisions), Chapter 36 (Zoning) and Chapter 41 (Park land dedication or fees in lieu thereof) of the City Code to allow streamlined administrative approval, without a public hearing, of housing development projects meeting the criteria in Public Resources Code (PRC) Section 21080.66, and to make other minor modifications to Chapter 28, Chapter 36 and Chapter 41 to achieve greater consistency with State Laws, for internal consistency within the City Code, and to align the City Code with current permitting procedures and practices; and a recommended determination that the action is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per PRC Section 21065 and CEQA Guidelines Section 15378, and, as a separate and independent basis, is exempt from the requirements of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
