Activity Pool at Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center Temporarily Closes for Pump Repairs

Effective at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 10, the Activity Pool at Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center will be temporarily closed for pump repairs. The Lap Pool will remain open with minor schedule adjustments.

During routine operations, staff identified a pump issue serving the Activity Pool that requires repair. To complete the repair, the Activity Pool, including the waterslide, zero-depth entry and shallow pool, will remain closed while the work is completed. The City is working with a specialized vendor and anticipates reopening the Activity Pool during the week of July 20.

The temporary closure affects several aquatic programs:

*Lap Swim*


* Reduced lanes will be in effect on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 to 1 p.m.

* Recreation Swim at Rengstorff Park Aquatics Center is canceled beginning July 10 until repairs are complete.
* Friday Night Swim and weekend Recreation Swim will be relocated to Eagle Park Pool.
* Weekday Recreation Swim will be available at Eagle Park Pool from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

* Staff will contact affected rental groups directly regarding any impacts to their reservations.
