Many of us were never formally taught how to manage our finances. This three-part series on financial literacy seeks to help fill this gap.

 

In the final session, students will learn the basics of how to properly invest their money while taking on a reasonable amount of risk. The instructor will conclude the series by talking briefly about critical retirement planning considerations.

Pick up a copy of the book at the Senior Center Desk. If you borrow a book from the Senior Center and finish before the discussion, please return the book so that others may borrow. On the meeting date, bring any copies to the meeting to return.

 

The Senior Center Book Groups meets every month on the third Friday in the Laurel Room at the Sunnyvale Senior Center. You do not have to be a member of the Sunnyvale Senior Center nor the Sunnyvale Public Library to take part.

Think you're the fastest Koopa Troopa on Rainbow Road? Join us for an Adult Mario Kart 8 Tournament.

 

Tournament will be single elimination. Game and controllers will be provided. Skill will not be provided, so please come prepared to race.

This event is for adults 18 years and older. Children and teens under 18 years old will not be able to participate.
