Hit Programs
Camp Billing

This new program allowed families to secure a spot in summer camp without immediately paying in full. Instead, families registered for each camp with a $15 nonrefundable deposit through credit card. Three weeks before each camp began, the card used for the deposit was automatically charged for the remaining cost.

Recreation Scholarship

Sunnyvale residents who met income limits had the opportunity to apply to receive $500 per child as a scholarship to offset the cost of summer camp. In the future, we recommend enrolling early to participate in camp before funds run out.

Applications were available in person - Columbia Neighborhood Center or Sunnyvale Community Center - and online - sunnyvale.ca.gov/activities [ https://www.sunnyvale.ca.gov/recreation-and-community/classes-and-activities ]
