Just For Kids

February may be the shortest month, but we have a lot going on at the Library! Join us to celebrate Black History Month and the Lunar New Year. For new or expecting parents, we also have our Community Baby Shower this month.

Many of our programs this month do not have registration. Space in our programs is still limited, and the doors will close when the program is full.

For programs with registrations, we recommend arriving early. Registrants' spots are only guaranteed until the start of the program.

*Please note:*

* *The Library will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16*
* *There will be no storytimes from Feb. 15 through 21.*

Scroll down or visit our calendar [ https://www.library.sunnyvale.ca.gov/events/calendar-month-view ] to view more programs happening in February.

All our best,

age-appropriate book each month for children ages 0-5 across Santa Clara County. Books

Every Story Counts at Your Library

Collage of people of different ages using library services
We want to hear from you!

Every Story Counts is a statewide initiative to capture data, stories and photos about how and why Californians use their local public libraries.

During the Week of January 25 – 31, 2026 the Sunnyvale Public Library will capture photos and videos of library programs and services and encourage patrons to share their own library stories. Whether you’re bringing your child to story time, using the library computers, checking out items from books to sewing machines, asking a question, or many of the other things you can do at the library, we want to hear about it!
