The Council Transportation Committee (CTC) will review and comment on the *Public Draft of the Mountain View Active Transportation Plan (MVATP) *at its June 16, 2026 [ https://mountainview.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1363211&GUID=4CBF96E4-E7A9-4FA7-A98F-DDFA4BD2BC79 ] meeting.* *

This draft reflects years of community input and technical work to create safer, more connected streets for walking, biking, and rolling across Mountain View. It brings together the City’s previous pedestrian and bicycle plans into one clear, citywide vision for mobility, safety, and access.

The Public Draft MVATP was published on April 20, 2026. The June 16, 2026 CTC meeting is the last in a series of opportunities for public comment on the public draft plan. Staff will develop a Final MVATP that responds to comments received on the public draft plan. Staff anticipate bringing the Final MVATP to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee and CTC before bringing to City Council for consideration in September 2026.
