*NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN* that the City of Mountain View *City Council* will hold a public hearing, at which time all interested parties may be heard regarding the following project: 

 

*HISTORIC PRESERVATION ORDINANCE AND HISTORIC REGISTER UPDATE * 

The City of Mountain View has been conducting research and analysis to update its Historic Preservation Ordinance, which sets requirements, processes, and incentives for the designation and review of alterations to historic resources, and the Historic Register, which is the list of historic resources that have been formally evaluated and identified as having historical significance.  

 

This meeting will include draft policy direction for the Ordinance and a draft list of properties that may be eligible for the Register and direction from this meeting will inform subsequent work. The City Council will not take final action at this meeting. A draft list of properties meeting eligibility criteria for listing in Mountain View’s Historic Register is now available on the website at: www.mountainview.gov/historicupdate [ http://www.mountainview.gov/historicupdate ] 

 

On October 1, 2025, the Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) reviewed and provided recommendations on the materials that will be presented to the City Council.
