Hello,

The City would like to provide an update regarding the Pickleball Study, Design, and Construction Project.

*Potential New Pickleball Site Identified – June 23, 2026*

The City has identified a potential location for future outdoor pickleball facilities at 485 and 495 Clyde Avenue. Staff will be seeking City Council approval of business terms for a lease agreement for the properties at the June 23, 2026 City Council meeting.

The site is located in the eastern section of the City near Middlefield Road and State Route 237, adjacent to Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course. The approximately 3.7-acre site is envisioned as a future City park, with a portion of the site potentially developed as a pickleball facility and the remainder reserved for future park and open space uses. If approved, staff will begin preparing concept layouts and preliminary analyses of the site, including environmental, noise, traffic, parking, and other site considerations.
