We're partnering with Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SCVE) to provide additional new rebates for heat pump appliances. These rebates are funded by the City of Los Altos. Learn More   Library Construction Underway Construction on the Courtyard at Los Altos Library is scheduled to begin mid-April with an estimated completion late fall 2026. There is no anticipated impact on the operating hours at Los Altos Library. The new courtyard will offer a welcoming outdoor destination where the community can gather, learn, and connect year-round. Open hours for the city offices and library remain the same. Learn More   SCCFD Partnership For 30 years, the Santa Clara County Fire Department (SCCFD) has provided Los Altos with premier fire and emergency services. As our current contract nears its expiration, the City of Los Altos is excited to announce it is exploring making this partnership permanent. This change helps ensure the long-term financial stability of Los Altos and secures a consistent, high-quality service for our community.
