Learn More   New Childcare Subsidy Program The City is now offering a program to support Santa Clara County’s initiative for affordable childcare. The program provides 50% subsidy of the program fee up to $10,000 per family household. This program is open to residents of Los Altos or to city of Los Altos employees. The household must meet HUD (Housing & Urban Development) income limits, which are listed on the webpage. The participant must be preschool-age of 2 – 5 years old.
