Learn More   Pizza with Police Our Pizza with the Police date has changed! With ongoing graduation celebrations in the coming weeks, we want to ensure that every hungry mouth is ready for a great slice and some great conversation. The event is now on Wednesday, June 24, from 5 to 7 PM at State of Mind Pizza, 101 Plaza N. As always, everyone is welcome! Learn More   New Childcare Subsidy Program The City is now offering a program to support Santa Clara County’s initiative for affordable childcare. The program provides 50% subsidy of the program fee up to $10,000 per family household. This program is open to residents of Los Altos or to city of Los Altos employees. The household must meet HUD (Housing & Urban Development) income limits, which are listed on the webpage. The participant must be preschool-age of 2 – 5 years old. Learn More   Heat Pump Rebates SVCE has updated its rebate amounts, including an additional limited‑time $500 bonus for heat pump water heaters available May–June. That's $3K in total savings, just with SVCE! The City is also offering separate rebates for heat pump appliances. For full rebate details and to apply, visit SVCE’s official website. Learn More   Spring/Summer Registration Open Registration is now open to everyone! The Spring/Summer Activity Guide, highlighting all of our classes, programs and events from April – August, is available as well! June is recognized as Pride Month, a time when communities across the country come together to honor LGBTQ+ history and celebrate inclusion. The month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall uprising, an event that sparked the modern movement for LGBTQ+ rights.
