* I had the honor of representing the California School Boards Association as Immediate Past President in Washington, D.C., for the Coast-2-Coast Advocacy Trip.
* Meanwhile, the City Council met every Tuesday this month and appointed members to the Bond Compliance Oversight Committee through a lottery process. Congratulations to *Guarav Dutta*, District 1 Member, and *Hee Sung Kang*, Alternate District 1 Member. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to serve!
