Fresh from a commission with the Paris Opera Ballet, My’Kal Stromile makes his Bay Area debut with a world premiere. Amy Seiwert’s "French Kiss", a colorful confection hailed by the "San Francisco Chronicle" as a “sweet, chic dessert,” returns to delight audiences once more. As we mark twenty years since Michael Smuin’s passing, we honor his lasting influence with a revival of his moving "Stabat Mater", returning to the stage for the first time since 2016.

As efficiency becomes the ultimate metric and human lives are reduced to data points, Youngwoo is forced to confront a devastating question: when algorithms decide who deserves to live, what happens to compassion, dignity, and human warmth? Blending humor, emotional storytelling, and original music, "The Liver" explores the cost of innovation and the moral weight of progress, inviting audiences to reflect on what should never be optimized away.

Teatro Nahual presents the theatrical productions “"El viaje de los cantores"” (“"The Journey of the Singers",” written by Hugo Salcedo) and “"Circo, maroma y teatro"” (“"Circus, acrobatics and theatrics",” written by Verónica Meza). The two plays are fused into one. “"El viaje de los cantores"” is a powerful Mexican play. It narrates a collective story, including testimonies from migrants and family members, as well as fragments of memory, dreams, and desires. While “"Circo, maroma y teatro"” is interconnected with humor across scenes, it reflects on the social and political situation that Latinx immigrants face in the U.S. today.
