The Updated Draft Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan is Now Available for Your Review and Feedback

 

The updated draft *Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan* is now available for public review. The Plan describes how robust community input and thorough analysis informed a clear direction for how Mountain View will expand, enhance and sustain its parks, open spaces, and recreation system over the next 10 to 15 years. 

Since the release of the initial draft in November 2025, City staff have reviewed feedback from the Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) and community members and revised the Plan to incorporate what was heard.

City staff will present the draft Plan at a City Council Study Session on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. Community members are encouraged to attend in person or virtually.
