Join Zentangle instructor Abby O'Connell for an introduction to meditative drawing. Described as yoga for the brain, the Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Zentangle embraces a "no mistakes" philosophy and encourages participants with no art experience to try. This program is for adults only. Registration is not required but supplies are first come, first served.

The award-winning Lunar Octet bring eclectic music enriched by the traditions of Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, rock, African high-life music and Brazilian sambas. The band's original compositions involve rich arrangements and strong focus on soloists. Enjoy exciting, dynamic and powerful music, including fiery Latin grooves, driving funk rhythms, swinging bop tunes and romantic ballads. This performance is for all ages. Registration is not required. Arrive early as seats will be limited.
*IN PERSON: Death Café*
Tuesday, June 30, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Library Program Room
Join us for a lightly moderated discussion of death over tea and snacks. At a Death Café, people—often strangers—gather to discuss death. We invite people in all phases of life to come talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. This program is for adults only. Registration is not required.
