Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the circulation desk? Or where the books go once you put them through the automated returns? Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sunnyvale Public Library. Bring the questions you've always had about Library processes.

 

The tour will meet on the Library Plaza at 11 a.m.

IN-PERSON: Senior Game Hour

*Thursday, April 10, 1 to 2:30 p.m. *

Pull up a chair! Play a game with your neighbors. We'll have playing cards, UNO, checkers, chess, Mahjong, Parcheesi and a collection of board games to choose from, or you can bring a favorite game from home.

 

This program was planned for older adults, but all adults are welcome. It will take place in the Program Room.

Registration is not required.

¡Únete a nuestro Club de lectura en español! Nos reuniremos una vez al mes y tendremos copias del libro para el mes siguiente. En nuestra tercero sesión, nos pondremos de acuerdo sobre como será el Club de lectura y también discutiremos temas y autores para futuras sesiones.

Bike Safety & Repair [ https://sunnyvale.libcal.com/event/13157974 ]
IN-PERSON: Bike Safety Information and Repair Workshop

*Saturday, April 12, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.*

Is your bike in need of a repair or tune-up? Not sure how to tell if your bike is safe to ride? Bring your bike to the Library Plaza!

Volunteers from Bike Sunnyvale (the local chapter of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition) will be onsite to teach the ABC Quick Check, share safety tips, give out bicycle goodies and answer other bike-related questions.

Professional bike mechanic Ryan Murphy will be available for advice and help with issues like changing a tire or adjusting gears or brakes. Assistance from Ryan will be first come, first served.

 

Note: Sunnyvale Public Library and Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition do not have spare bicycle parts for replacements.
