[JCCI NY] All You Need to Know ! The Foundations of Immigration Law in the U.S., An Intensive Training Seminar

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of New York, in conjunction with the Japan Club of New York, is pleased to announce an intensive training on the basics of immigration law for those who are now in charge of managing employee visas and immigration measures, as well as for those who manage visa operations.

With the start of the new fiscal year, many of you have been transferred to the U.S. or have changed jobs and are now engaged in new work in the U.S. Since it is not possible to learn about immigration law in Japan beforehand, the only way to learn is through practice, as the saying goes. However, there is a huge difference in the speed and maturity of knowledge acquisition between going into practice with the necessary basic knowledge of the structure and processes of immigration law and going into practice without such knowledge. Issues involving immigration law are both a company matter and a personal matter for the subject employee, and once they arise, they often cannot be undone and will remain on record for a lifetime. While leaving the legal knowledge and handling to the law firm, having at least the minimum information you need to know as the person in charge will enable you to prevent immigration issues before they arise, review and streamline existing company procedures and protocols, and effectively deal with them to educate employees and improve employee satisfaction.

This training is an intensive training that will last over 3 hours with breaks in between, but it is set up in such a way that you will learn all the basic knowledge you need in that time. It will be conducted in a hybrid format, so participants can attend from anywhere in the United States. We look forward to seeing you there.
