Nice to meet you. I came to the US as a teenager after the Great Hanshin Earthquake, where my mother of Italian descent lived, and although circumstances have kept me from leaving now, I really wish I could have returned home.

I'm currently living in Silicon ・ Valley, but by last December I had lived in every big city and country here and there.

Americans don't know, aren't used to, don't know, and harbor a violent hatred for things that are even slightly different from themselves. There are Americans who don't, but those people are the exception.

In America, putting only oneself first, and bullying words and actions, is an old and withered "sign of strength".

And justice, etc., is determined by kind--race, gender, etc. In the world and in the courts. Especially if you are Asian, there is no justice if you are DV'd or killed.

Using tax laws, almost no one can even rent a room alone now. Eating out is mainly the same, cheap food is mostly junk food.

Medical care is too expensive and insurance may be unaffordable in some places.

Modern young couples often live with their children to pay rent for a 1R apartment, and parents may even work more than 4 jobs total.

Asian and Latino immigrants are taken advantage of or dumped daily. They are harassed from all sides, both at work and in the community while doing the work that Americans do not do at all.

Why on earth would anyone do anything in this situation, because over here, the power to change society is bought. People who are not property owners do not leave to become politicians.

And as you can see, different kinds of people have already decided how much money they can make.
