2026 Summer BBQ - Senior Center

Dress in country style to celebrate summer and enjoy an evening of delicious barbecue, great company, and live music with a Quartet from Top Shelf Big Band!

* *Location:* Senior Center, Orchard Pavillion
* *Ages:* 50 and up

Peery Park Rides

Getting around Northwest Sunnyvale is now easier with *Peery Park Rides*, a free, on demand rideshare service. Ride to work, appointments, restaurants, shopping and other destinations throughout Northwest Sunnyvale. 

Peery Park Rides is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Book a ride using the Peery Park Rides app or call 408-539-6196.

Learn the Hustle in August. Get on the dance floor and move to the music in a safe and supportive atmosphere. No registration required. Space is limited. First come, first served.

*Returns to Wednesdays, August 12. *Get on the dance floor and move to the music in a safe and supportive atmosphere. It's recommended to wear leather-soled shoes that will stay firmly on your feet.  Participants are encouraged to bring a partner.

Table Tennis

Non-instructional, recreational table tennis for all levels. Up to 6 tables available. Single and double play are welcome. Rotation of players occurs during the session if busy. Bring your own paddle and wear tennis shoes. All plays are governed by the International Table Tennis Federation rules.

Stay safe and confident online by learning how to spot scam calls, fake texts, suspicious emails, and online tricks before they fool you. Join us for a fun, interactive session where seniors will discover easy ways to protect their personal information and use their smartphones with greater confidence.

Connect with local high school students for a lively afternoon of games, trivia and fun! Each week brings something new such as board games, jeopardy-style trivia and dance performances. All events are facilitated by enthusiastic young volunteers.

September Day Trip - San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

Experience an inspiring day at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, one of the nation’s premier modern and contemporary art museums. Explore seven floors of world-renowned artwork featuring artists such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Andy Warhol, Henri Matisse and Jackson Pollock. Discover thought provoking exhibitions, immersive installations, stunning sculptures and peaceful outdoor terraces as you enjoy one of San Francisco’s most celebrated cultural destinations.

Lunch is not included. Lunch, snacks and beverages can be purchased at any of the museum’s cafe options: Jane on Third, Steps Coffee or Cafe 5.

Discover 26 Sun Flair sculptures across 13 Sunnyvale parks. This scavenger hunt is a fun, free way to enjoy the fresh air this spring and summer while learning about public art in our community.
