• Eighth graders of junior high school ~ 3rd graders in 2025 who reside outside of Japan.
• A parent or guardian (who can pick up the child in case of emergency) must stay in Japan for the duration of the program.
• Be able to comply with the rules and regulations of the homestay and the host high school.
*Inappropriate behavior will result in suspension from the program.
・ Students are generally not allowed to go out alone during the program and are responsible for their own behavior.
・ Japanese language proficiency is not required, but preference will be given to students who have attended or graduated from a supplementary Japanese language school.

Program participation fee is covered by the JEFLA special scholarship.
