I am moving from the Bay Area to New York next month, and I am thinking of hiring a transportation company to move my private car. However, most of the companies I've checked on the internet charge more than the initial quote, and I'm wondering which company to choose. If you guys know of any good car transport companies in the Bay Area, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Thanks in advance.

I used it about 4 years ago.

I had no problems then.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say
1, you can't set a specific date and time for pickup and drop off, and I remember having to be flexible for a week or two for both.
2, I chose to meet them at a large location because they would come to pick me up in a large truck that carried my car. It seems like you can't move within a small residential community that is gated or something.
